• Herriak Elkarlanean has conducted several development projects in Chiapas, Dominican Republic, Eritrea, Benin and Haiti. The main objective of these projects is the escolarization of children and the providing of basic education, by creating appropriate facilities and resources.

Beasain elkarlanean

• This festival is organized with the help of some associations, citizens and developers and the money raised is earmarked for development projects. It is a festival which is celebrated every year since the earthquake in Haiti in 2010.

  • On the one hand, it means to inform the people from Beasain about the activities and projects that this NGO carries out. On the other hand, they want the associations, cooking societies, bakeries, butcher's etc. to participate. Finally, organize a charity dinner to make money for an specified project.

  • This charity dinner is held in October in Beasain, and in recent years has been a success raising between 3000 and 4000 euros and publicizing our group in the village.

  • Participate disinterestedly:
  • Cooking societies: Aizkorri, Murumendi, Usurbe, Aitz-zorrotz, Beti-bizi, Bareak, Arrano, Jesus Larrañaga y Loinatz Abesbatza.
  • Butcher's: Iñaki Zubeldia, Olano, Oiarbide, Azurmendi, Montoya y Xixio Mujika.
  • Dancers: Ostadar dantza taldea y Aurtzaka dantza taldea.
  • Bakeries: Pagosa, Gariona, Ogiberri y labealde.
  • Others: Txaranga Koskola, Dizebi graffiti, Cómicos Kike Biguri y Alex Rabanal, Trikitilari Aitor Furundarena, Txilibutxof, Atxeden aldiko taldea, trikitilaris de Musika eskola, actores Gorka Lariz y Mª Sol Cavero, Asociación de Cerámica de Beasain, Esparru suministros industriales, Restaurante Frontón, Faktore, Irizar S.Coop, Plazape taberna y Beasaingo Udala.

Clothes container

• We send clothes to poor countries such as Benin, Dominican Republic, Mali, Ethiopia, Argentina and Peru.

  What is collected?

  In this container we only collect clothing: shirts, pants, sweaters, shoes, etc. You should not place anything other than clothes.

  How is it collected?

  You have to deposit the clothing in a sealed bag. Additionally, clothing should be clean.

  When is it collected?

  You can deposit the container clothes anytime, either morning or evening. In regard to dates, from July 15 to September 15 the container is not, therefore, do not pick any clothes.
